the highly successful "Mortal Kombat" video game and movie franchise.

Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, and Robert Friedman, President,
New Line Television. The series will be executive produced by Larry Kasanoff,
producer of both MK feature films and other media related to the property.

Two feature films have been produced -- "Mortal Kombat," which grossed
more than $70 million worldwide, and "Mortal Kombat Annihilation," which
debuted as the number-one movie its opening weekend (November 21, 1997).
