Cyrax is finally rescued from his desert prison
by the Lin Kuei. The physical damage sustained while in the desert was
relatively easy to repair, but Cyrax seems very different from when he
first set out on his original assassination mission against Sub-Zero. Only
time will tell how well Cyrax has overcome his ordeal.

ENDING
Cyrax is in a bed in a lab with Jax and Sonya
around him near a control panel. Sonya asks Cyrax if he wants to
go through with this now that all systems are go. She says if this
doesn't work, they won't be able to recover his main processor. Cyrax
explains about seeing flashbacks while fighting Shinnok, so he can't live
unless his is returned to a human form. Jax and Sonya begin a scanning
process on Cyrax. On the count of three, the switch on the control
panel is turned on by Sonya and a bright green light comes from the scanner.
Jax and Sonya look away. Then, they power down. Then they show
Cyrax with a human face, and he begins to say how he feels human and he
thanks them both. He goes on saying he won't go back to the Lin Kieu,
but instead fight alongside Earth's warriors. Jax says that that's
good news, and Sonya takes Cyrax out of his harness because he'd been trapped
long enough.
