Ebay products and site status
Well, after putting many of the
Mortal Kombat collectible items and non-MK related merchandise on Ebay,
non of it sold. Oh well, this just means that the items listed in
the previous updates are still available if anybody wants them, so check
below and drop me an e-mail
if anyone is interested in any of the items. Also, summer has once
again come to a close so this site will again go into hibernation for a
bit. For the time being, feel free to still use the numerous MK pages
on this site, and make sure to participate in the Test,
Poll,
and Guestbook.
Thanks, enjoy MK: Shaolin Monks when it comes out, and by the way, the
MK Empire has almost reached 100,000 hits!

Ebay auctions begin!
Hey I finally got around to getting
some stuff up on Ebay.
As of right now, the only item up for bids is this Iomega
100mb external zip drive with 9 disks and disk case, which
actually used to be used to store files for this site. Sorry that
only one randon item is up right now, but it took me a while to get reacquainted
with the whole Ebay system. Some of the other Mortal Kombat related
items listed below will be up over the course of the next week or so.
So for now, check out the page for the zip
drive, which starts at just $9, and as always check out the
items below under the July 6th update and let
me know if you are interested in anything.

Test #22 up
It's about that time again for
a new Test. The last
test asked the question, "In Mortal Kombat: Deception, how many realms
does Shujinko travel through in his Konquest adventure?" Only a select
few chose the answer I was looking for, which was 7 realms because I counted
the first Earthrealm Village and then Earthrealm as two separate levels.
Sorry if this screwed anyone up. But moving on, the new test question
asks, "In the upcoming game Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, who are the two
main characters whose journeys we follow?" This should be very easy
considering the game is all over the web right now. Good luck.
Poll results and a new poll
After months of voting, the new
Poll
is ready to go. The last poll asked the question, "What is your favorite
feature in Mortal Kombat: Deception?" Out of the 228 votes received,
158 said "Everything" (69%), 27 said "Klassic Kombat" (12%), and 15 said
"Konquest Mode" (7%). This is basically what I expected.
But now, the new poll asks, "Which upcoming Mortal Kombat games are you
planning on buying?" Enjoy the voting process.

It's about that time...
Yes I know. It's pretty obvious
that this site is no longer in its prime and is only updated about 3 times
per year, but I knew this time would come anyway. I updated a while
back explaining that MK: Deadly Alliance
would be the last game that the MK Empire covered in-depth, and I guess
I was serious. I no longer have time to do this site all by myself,
nor the energy, and with the release of a successful yet very very
extensively-filled MK: Deception and now MK: Shaolin Monks on the horizon,
covering all this is simply impossible. Now let me just say that
MK: Deception is an amazing game, and I have my likes and dislikes about
it, but overall good job to Midway.
In addition, I have recently purchased Midway's Arcade Treasures 2 for
some oldschool MK action, yet I feel that these "arcade-perfect" ports
are nowhere near perfect at all, but good nonetheless. Also, with
Shaolin Monks coming up in the Fall, things look promising, though I can't
say for sure. But, my point is that the MK world still lives on,
and so will this site. I will leave this site on the internet for
MK fans to turn to for the most comprehensive, detailed, and accurate information
for everything that is MK, from its inception right up to and including
MK:
Deadly Alliance. But, no more will I be updating with
news about what is going on with games, movies, etc. The only
updates from now on will be little things, like news tests, polls, and
other minor details. This site, then, will sort of be like an information
archive for past MKs, with little things being refreshed here and there
for user enjoyment. So, with that said, enjoy the MK Empire, feel
free to browse, read the updates below, and thanks for all the years of
support. I appreciate it... Oh, and speaking of years, in about a
week the MK Empire turns 7 years old. All I have to say is... daaammmnnn!
New test up
After a long time of not updating
the Test, it's time for
# 21. Much respect to all those who participated in the last test.
The new test question asks, "In Mortal Kombat: Deception, how many realms
does Shujinko travel through in his Konquest adventure?" Think hard
people, and good luck!
Poll results and a new poll
It's also about that time for a
brand new Poll. The
last poll asked the question, "What are your first impressions of Mortal
Kombat: Deception?" Out of the 274 votes received, 182 said it was
"The Shiznit" (66%), 38 said it was "Great" (15%), 15 said it was "Good"
(5%), and 24 were disappointed with a "Damn you Midway" (9%). Not
bad for Deception, but the results seemed to shift from mostly very good
to a lower category as time went on, which I'm not sure is a good thing.
But, nevertheless, the new poll asks "What is your favorite feature in
MK: Deception?" Have fun voting.
MK collectables to auction off
Remember way back at the beginning
of the summer I posted all of the cool MK products that I was going to
auction off on Ebay?
Well, I never got around to it (go figure). So, it's going to have
to wait until this upcoming summer since I won't have time until then.
Still, check out the June, 2004
archived news page to view descriptions and pictures of what I have.
Also, if anyone is interested in anything right now, drop me an e-mail.
